I think I reached a new personal record for beer consumption, but I'll get to that in a moment.
I went home (to my hometown) for the Labour-Day weekend. I only visit home these days, since I live and have lived away for 5 years now. Its a strange place to visit now, because most of my hometown friends have returned from college to live there again. Its great to catch up with them and I always have great times.
Which leads me to the festivities of Sunday the 3rd of September 2006. My good friend Blake hosted his first annual "Cornroast 2006". To put it simply, there was corn, and meat, and alchohol, and fire and damn good times. I drank 5 bottles of beer on Saturday (for a warmup) and 17 bottles of beer, 3 shots of Yaeger, and 3-4 jello-vodka shooters on sunday night. Compared to the most drunk I have ever been, I'd say I was 75-80%. So aside from a very uncomfortable morning (and the rest of the day and night) Nothing bad happened. I don't think I've ever had a better labour-day.
So cheers to all my friends, be you in school or done forever, I raised a glass for each of you and drank to your good fortune (and then a drank a few more)
cheers
